Frédérique Andry-Cazin, “Stories of Masks”: an Exploration of Mask Culture in Pandemic Times

Tuesday, October 26, 2021

3:15 PM – 4:30 PM

-
When the surgical mask appeared in our daily lives in the spring of 2020, it became the object of much attention. The Heritage Observatory of the Sorbonne University – OPUS Alliance then launched a series of actions and events highlighting masks in all their diversity. This discussion is lead by Frédérique Andry-Cazin, who has served as Secretary General of OPUS since 2018. Trained in cultural mediation and heritage conservation, she has overseen the university heritage collections of the Faculty of Sciences at Sorbonne University for 10 years. She is also a member of the board of Universeum - European Academic Heritage Network, a European association for museums and university collections. “
